Troon Archery Club

Description

We are a small friendly group seeking to promote target archery in the area. Although only established for a year we meet twice a week and offer opportunities for both those just starting in archery, the experienced archer and as a family activity.

Advice and instruction are offered to those just starting and as part of Archery GB we subscribe to their ability progression route. We are keen to encourage anyone to have a try in the hope of expanding club activity and advancing personal archery skills. Other than crossbow all bow types accepted.

Come along for a free first try (which may be extended by arrangement).

In the summer we meet at Marr Fields and in the winter we meet at Muirhead Community Centre. Venues may be subject to change due to availability. Please contact for more information.

We are happy to work with any group wishing to experience archery as a recreational activity particularly where a sharing of resources could work to mutual benefit. As such any organisations for those entering retirement or dealing with disability who might be interested in experiencing archery please do get in touch.
